Unforgettable Moments and Sensational Performances: Mad Cool Festival Kicks off its Sixth Edition with a Stellar Lineup in Madrid

The Madrid festival kicks off its sixth edition with a lineup headlined by Robbie Williams, Lizzo, Lil Nas X, and Machine Gun Kelly, followed by other notable names such as The Offspring, Raye, The 1975, Sigur Rós, Nova Twins, and Paolo Nutini, among others.

The return of Mad Cool Festival featured a total of 35 performances by national and international artists, allowing the audience to experience the festival in its new home in Villaverde, Madrid.

On the first of the three days that make up this new edition, with over 65,000 attendees, people enjoyed an eclectic program across 8 different stages.

Robbie Williams landed with his characteristic attitude on the “Stage Mad Cool.” Iconic songs like “Feel,” “Rock Dj,” and “Angels” made it one of the most anticipated performances of the night.

The main stage also witnessed Machine Gun Kelly’s first performance in Spain. His concert featured some of his well-known hits and showcased his ability to connect with the audience.

Lizzo delivered another remarkable performance on the first day. The American singer and rapper brought the festival’s energy to another level. Hits like “Juice” and “About Damn Time” captivated the audience, who couldn’t stop dancing at the “Stage Madrid is Life.”

Lil Nas X surprised everyone with an explosive show that revolutionized the attendees. From the first chord, the crowd surrendered to his infectious rhythms and bold lyrics, showcasing his ability to break musical barriers and capture everyone’s attention with a spectacular stage presence.

Another standout moment of the day was Paolo Nutini’s incredible performance, filling the stage with his charismatic voice. His powerful live performance moved all the attendees at the “Stage Region of Madrid.” The 1975, also on the same stage, didn’t disappoint. Just as expected from the Manchester-based band, they spread good vibes throughout their entire show.

Other names on Stage 3, “Region of Madrid,” included Franz Ferdinand and King Princess.

Raye, Velmondo, Nova Twins, and Maxïmo Park delighted the audience who didn’t miss a single performance on the “Stage Ouigo.” This stage, located near the main entrance, welcomed all the attendees in the following days.

Honey Dijon, Purple Disco Machine, Gerd Janson, and Two Ex took the stage at the famous tent, “The Loop by Iberdrola,” which, after a year, once again made everyone dance with four unforgettable sets.

Girli, an artist revolutionizing the UK’s new scene, along with Walls and Ghouljaboy, emerging names becoming essential in the national urban scene, stole the spotlight on the “Mahou Cinco Estrellas” stage, thrilling an audience who didn’t want to miss DJ Trapella’s set, one of the winners of Mad Cool DJ Talent by Vibra Mahou.

Mobox and Stacey Ryan performed on the “Stage Mahou Rose,” preceded by Margielin and La Milagrosa, other emerging artists who landed at the festival thanks to the eighth edition of Mad Cool Talent by Vibra Mahou.

Black Maracas, one of the latest additions to this year’s lineup, shared the stage with Chalkyninenine, Zetak, and Insincere, who opened the “Stage Mahou Maestra.”

Once again, Mad Cool Festival becomes a musical and cultural reference in Madrid, attracting both national and international audiences. It is a hub where creativity, art, and diversity take center stage.

The organization recommends using the various public transportation options available to enter and exit Mad Cool Festival.

We highlight the work of Aspacia and Apoyo Positivo, who led the Support Point for anyone in need of information and/or professional assistance related to any form of violence. These points will be active with different programs throughout the festival and will remain open until its closure to provide support to those in need.
