Day 2 at Mad Cool Festival 2023: Memorable Moments with Mumford & Sons, Sam Smith, and Queens Of The Stone Age Steal the Show with Electrifying Performances

The second day of the sixth edition of the Mad Cool Festival was dominated by headliners Mumford & Sons, Queens Of The Stone Age, Sam Smith, and The Black Keys, closely followed by other notable names such as Tash Sultana, Kaleo, Angel Olsen, Rüfüs Du Sol, and Puscifer, among others.

One of the most standout moments of the night occurred when Mumford & Sons lit up the Madrid sky as the final chords of “I Will Wait” echoed through the air. The second day of Mad Cool Festival 2023 featured a total of 35 performances by national and international artists, leaving over 67,000 attendees with an unforgettable experience.

With their unparalleled style, Mumford & Sons took the “Stage Mad Cool” by storm, captivating all the attendees on the second day. The acclaimed British band delivered a performance that lived up to expectations, showcasing their unmistakable energy. The shine of their folk rock and the connection with the audience stole the spotlight, making their concert one for the Mad Cool Festival history books.

The sophisticated and avant-garde Sam Smith mesmerized the audience with a repertoire filled with hits like “Stay with Me” and “Unholy.” Their show was a pure statement, adding a touch of glam to the second day, and the audience responded with full enthusiasm.

Tash Sultana captivated the Mad Cool Festival audience with their magnetic stage presence. With their distinct voice and incredible guitar skills, they unleashed a wave of emotions in the “Region of Madrid,” creating a concert moment that will remain etched in the memories of all attendees.

The Black Keys took charge of engaging rock lovers who didn’t want to miss their performance on the “Stage Madrid is Life.” Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney elevated the festival to another level, playing well-known tracks like “Lonely Boy,” “Tighten Up,” and “Gold on the Ceiling.” Their raw guitar-driven show proved that they are one of the great rock bands of today.

Another iconic rock band shook the “Madrid is Life” stage. Queens Of The Stone Age ignited the audience with a powerful and captivating performance. With their commanding sound and unmatched charisma, Josh Homme and his band unleashed their devastating riffs that echoed throughout the festival, surprising the crowd with some tracks from their latest album, “In Times New Roman.”

Rüfüs Du Sol, Angel Olsen, Kaleo, Jacob Collier, and The Driver Era gave it their all on the “Region of Madrid” stage.

On the “Stage Ouigo,” the groups Torrione, Delaporte, Bombay Bicycle Club, Men I Trust, dEUS, and Kevin Morby took the spotlight. Located near the entrance, this stage and the performances by these artists welcomed all the attendees.

Polo & Pan Dj set, Romy, Helena Gallardo, and Dj Gigola made the audience dance at Stage 4, the famous “The Loop by Iberdrola” tent, the place to be for electronic music lovers.

The “Stage Mahou Cinco Estrellas” was dominated by the performance of Victor Carré b2b Body-O, one of the winners of the first edition of the Mad Cool Dj Talent by Vibra Mahou, an initiative through which Mad Cool Festival supports emerging talent. Pixey, Choclock, and Hotwax also graced this stage.

Miss Deep’In, Himalayas, Hannah Grae, Stone, and Pau Corea, the winner of the original edition of the initiative that promotes emerging bands, Mad Cool Talent by Vibra Mahou, brought all their energy to the “Stage Mahou Rosé.”

Additionally, on this second day, at the “Stage Mahou Maestra,” the audience enjoyed shows by Ralphie Choo, Night Club, Emotional Oranges, and the spectacular closing act by Loopi.ta, another artist who earned her spot in the festival after participating in the Mad Cool Dj Talent by Vibra Mahou.

Today, Saturday, July 8th, it will be the turn of Red Hot Chili Peppers, M.I.A, Liam Gallagher, Ava Max, The Prodigy, Morgan, The Rose, Primal Scream, and Years & Years, among others.

Once again, we highlight the efforts of Aspacia and Imagina MÁS, who led the Support Point, providing information and professional assistance related to any type of violence. During today’s event, these points will remain active with various programs until the festival’s closing, aiming to assist all those in need.
