JAG PANZER Unleashes Thrilling Digital Single ‘Edge Of A Knife’; Experience the “Vinyl-Playing” Lyric Video

Heavy metal non-believers, be ware as »The Hallowed« is near! The brand new studio album by US legends JAG PANZER will finally be unleashed upon the world in five weeks – on June 23rd, 2023 – via Atomic Fire Records. It’s nothing but a highly-anticipated record but also an “album of the year” contender for many maniacs of the scene created by the Colorado based quintet, the latter being once again pushed by third single, ‘Edge Of A Knife.’ 

»The Hallowed« presents a unique departure from JAG PANZER’s previous discography as it follows the captivating storyline of the band’s comic book, which was released in late 2022. The bass and drum tracks were recorded at Sonic Phish Productions in Arizona under the expert guidance of acclaimed drummer Ken Mary (ALICE COOPER, FIFTH ANGEL, FLOTSAM & JETSAM), while additional recording for guitars and vocals took place at SteamPunk Audio Labs (Arizona) and Hound House Studios in Colorado. Jim Morris, a longstanding engineering genius and valued member of the JAG PANZER family, skillfully mixed the record at the renowned Morrisound Studios in Florida. Maor Appelbaum (FAITH NO MORE, HALFORD, CANDLEMASS, ARMORED SAINT) added his mastering touch to the album, enhancing its sonic quality. The stunning album cover artwork was masterfully crafted by Dusan Markovic (ANGEL WITCH, VIRGIN STEELE), and the layout of »The Hallowed« was expertly handled by the esteemed underground metal artist Travis Smith (MEGADETH, OPETH, OVERKILL), completing an extraordinary team of artists for this new album.

The band explain: “‘Edge Of A Knife’ highlights the despair and hopelessness of the band of people/animals within the storyline. While earlier songs speak of unity among the group, this track speaks of worry and trepidation.”
