Ignescent’s ‘Fight In Me’ Album Drops Nov 10 with ‘Not Today’ Single & Kevin Young of Disciple Collab!
Frontiers Music Srl is thrilled to announce the upcoming release of Ignescent’s debut album, “Fight In Me,” a blazing new entry in the world of hard rock hailing from the vibrant city of Chicago. The lead single, “Not Today,” featuring the powerful vocals of Kevin Young from Disciple, is officially unleashed today. Alongside this release comes a sizzling music video featuring the fiery presence of Billy Grey from Fozzy, with direction by the renowned JT Ibanez, known for his work with Sevendust.
As for the album’s overarching theme, Jennifer Benson, the driving force behind Ignescent, passionately declares, “Through the pain, our hearts ignite, making us stronger. I’ll never back down from the fight within me.”
This album boasts collaborations with notable figures like Sameer from Flyleaf, Jeremy Valentyne, and Brandon Wolfe from New Years Day, among others. At the helm of the band stands the multi-talented vocalist, Jennifer Benson, who has graced the music scene with several singles and an EP over the past few years, showcasing their contemporary metal sound reminiscent of Flyleaf, Evanescence, Jinjer, and Skillet.
Since 2018, Ignescent has been relentlessly touring across the Midwest and the Nashville area, making waves in the rock scene. Their previous single, “Remnant,” soared to #46 on the Billboard Rock Charts. Their debut EP, “Electrified,” was masterfully produced by the four-time Dove Award-winning and Grammy-nominated producer Travis Wyrick, known for his work with 10 Years and P.O.D. Notably, the opening track, “Calling Out to You,” was co-written with the former lead guitarist of Skillet, Ben Kasica, and climbed to the top 30 on the Billboard Rock Charts.
This Spring and Summer, Ignescent blazed a trail through headline appearances at renowned festivals like XODO FEST in Mexico and REVELATION ROCKFEST in South Carolina. They also embarked on a thrilling Midwest tour that included a show-stopping performance on the MAIN Stage at Lakes Jam Festival, sharing the spotlight with Skillet. Looking ahead, the Fall calendar is packed with appearances, including a presence at the Petra 50th Anniversary Bash events in Kentucky and Tennessee, as well as additional festival gigs in the Midwest.
