Get ready for the thunderous pit of Armstrong MetalFest’s 2023 lineup with the festival’s Spotify playlist.
Held on July 14th and 15th at Hassen Arena in Armstrong, BC’s Okanagan Valley, the playlist features bangers from the festival’s 2023 lineup. Headliners include WARBRINGER from LA, tech-death giants FALLUJAH from San Francisco, festival alumni ENTERPRISE EARTH from Spokane, and THE ZENITH PASSAGE from Los Angeles. Other notable acts include VALE OF PNATH from Denver and STRIKER, the Juno award-winning heavy metal champions from Edmonton. A total of 28 bands will perform over the two-day extreme music festival (full lineup below).

The 2023 edition follows the highly successful 2022 event, which recorded the highest attendance in the festival’s history after a two-year hiatus due to the Covid pandemic. This year’s lineup promises to be an eclectic and earth-shaking experience with bands from Canada and beyond.
Since 2009 (excluding 2020 and 2021), West Metal Entertainment and Armstrong MetalFest have not only nurtured local talent but also brought well-known international acts to the quiet town of Armstrong, British Columbia. Each year, up to 700 metalheads from Canada and the USA gather in the picturesque Okanagan Valley for three days of camping, metal music, wrestling events, scavenger hunts, and reunions with their metal family.
The festival has seen renowned headliners like Kataklysm, Cattle Decapitation, Archspire, Nekrogoblikon, Origin, Rivers of Nihil, and Beyond Creation, as well as emerging artists from across North America. After the festivities, the festival leaves no trace, leaving the landscape as pristine as ever.
West Metal Entertainment is a non-profit society that not only organizes Armstrong Metal Festival every year but also provides bands with opportunities to perform at various venues in the region, including all-ages shows, to foster musical passion in both kids and adults.
