ANGELUS APATRIDA Unveils Impressive 8th Album ‘Aftermath’: Collaborations, Tours, and Intense Metal Anthems Await

The incredible ANGELUS APATRIDA is pleased to announce their upcoming 8th studio album titled “Aftermath,” set to be released on October 20, 2023, through Century Media Records worldwide.

Following their self-titled album “Angelus Apatrida” from 2021, which successfully topped the official album charts in Spain at #1 and made its debut on sales charts in Germany at #49 and Switzerland at #41, “Aftermath” has been self-produced by the band. Recordings took place at Baboon Records in Albacete, Spain, under the supervision of Juanan López, and then mixed and mastered by Zeuss (known for his work with Rob Zombie, Overkill, Hatebreed, Municipal Waste, and Shadows Fall) at Planet-Z in Wilbraham, MA, USA.

ANGELUS APATRIDA releases today the first single for the song “Cold,” which is also accompanied by an intense scripted video directed by Juan Castillo, J. L. Auñón, and Lalo Davia / Kameo Producciones. You can watch it here:

Regarding the track “Cold,” ANGELUS APATRIDA commented, “Our new album ‘Aftermath’ is a compact collection of powerful songs. Selecting the singles took time, as each of the 10 songs could be a single on its own. However, ‘Cold’ stands out as the ideal choice to introduce this new album. It encompasses all the signature elements of Angelus Apatrida, making it a metal anthem. Its deep and impactful lyrics, coupled with its stunning video, make this song a perfect starting point. But believe us, the entire album is an astonishing blend of our best compositions.”

The cover artwork for “Aftermath” is created by Gyula Havancsák (known for his work with Annihilator, Destruction, and Stratovarius), and the album features exceptional collaborations: Jamey Jasta (Hatebreed, vocals), Pablo García (Warcry, guitars), Todd La Torre (Queensrÿche, vocals), and rap star Sho-Hai (vocals).

The tracklist for “Aftermath” is as follows:

  1. Scavenger
  2. Cold
  3. Snob (feat. Jamey Jasta)
  4. Fire Eyes (feat. Pablo García)
  5. Rats
  6. To Whom It May Concern
  7. Gernika
