Aerosmith has announced its 23/24 farewell tour with 40 dates in North America and will feature support from The Black Crowes

Aerosmith, the classic hard rock band, has just announced an extensive North American farewell tour that will extend throughout the rest of this year and into 2024. The tour, which was teased last week, will feature support from The Black Crowes. General on-sale for tickets will begin on May 5th. Unfortunately, longtime Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer, who has been absent from the band recently, will not be playing.

This announcement comes several months after Aerosmith was forced to cancel the final shows of their multi-year “Deuces Are Wild” residency in Las Vegas due to health issues affecting lead singer Steven Tyler. At the time, a statement was released stating that Tyler was feeling “unwell.”

Tickets available from May 5th at Ticketmaster

Now, however, the band is returning to the road for one last tour. A video trailer for the tour can be found below. Fans will not want to miss this opportunity to see Aerosmith perform live one last time.

In a joint statement, Aerosmith shared, “It’s not goodbye, it’s PEACE OUT! Get ready and walk this way, you’re going to get the best show of our lives.”

They added regarding Kramer, “While Joey remains a beloved founding member of Aerosmith, he has regrettably made the decision to sit out the currently scheduled touring dates to focus his full attention on his family and health. Joey’s unmistakable and legendary presence behind the drum kit will be sorely missed.”
