Mark your calendars! Mad Cool Festival is ready for its sixth edition, taking place on July 6th, 7th, and 8th in Spain.
This festival stands out as one of the first summer events in Spain, making it an irresistible choice for young people and those who want to kick off their vacations with an extra dose of excitement. Although the schedule is yet to be confirmed, traditionally the concerts have started around 5:00 PM and continued until 4:30 AM. We will keep you updated with the information.
How to get to MAD COOL 2023
MAD COOL is moving to a new location in 2023. Here is the new MAD COOL SPACE:
The grounds located between the M-45 road and Laguna Dalga street, in Colonia Marconi (Villaverde), will be the stage for the sixth edition of the Mad Cool music festival, as well as other music events. This innovative project, called ‘The City of Music,’ will be similar to the successful City of Image established in Pozuelo de Alarcón.
There will be a reorganization of over 850,000 square meters of land, where a thriving music industry will be developed, with spaces dedicated to music production, rehearsal rooms, and sectors related to sound sciences and engineering. This area, known as Los Aguados and Los Llanos, is adjacent to Polígono El Gato and the Industrial Factory of Villaverde, south of Colonia Marconi and north of the M-45, with direct access to this main road.
Thus, Mad Cool returns to Villaverde after having celebrated its first editions in this district in the south of Madrid, specifically at Caja Mágica. Subsequently, the festival took place at the Valdebebas – IFEMA venue.

San Isidro Festivities
On Saturday, May 13th, Mad Cool Festival brought the essence of the festival to one of the most important and anticipated festivities for all Madrid residents: the iconic San Isidro festivities. Thousands of attendees enjoyed a program featuring national and international artists.
MAD COOL TALENT by VIBRA MAHOU
Once again, Mad Cool Talent by Vibra Mahou supports emerging bands, becoming a great ally in their first steps in the music industry by providing visibility and support for quality music.
In previous editions, well-known projects such as Irengarry, Andreew, Leo Rizzi, Ganges, Megane Mercury… participated and shared their exciting musical proposals through this initiative, performing on the talent stage.
Once again, Mad Cool Festival and Vibra Mahou, Mahou Cinco Estrellas’ music platform that promotes live music encounters, continue to bet on emerging talent in this 8th edition, surpassing participation records with over 1,500 registered bands.
Artist X Madrid
Mad Cool has carried out a new project titled “Artists x Madrid,” which, together with the Community of Madrid, explores the connection between art and music. It’s a new way to unite these two concepts in an inspiring way.
To make this project a reality, we sought and collaborated with ten artists, asking them to create an illustration inspired by Madrid. And to accompany this creative process, what better than being carried away by music… right? These ten artists also shared their favorite playlist, which served as the soundtrack accompanying their creative process, their happy place where they let their art flow and brought these ten illustrations to life.
The result? A unique blend of art and music. An archive where you can enjoy these works over and over again, you can download all the illustrations HERE.
