SONATA ARCTICA to embark on “Nordic Power Metal Titans” co-headline tour with STRATOVARIUS in October/November 2023

SONATA ARCTICA is a Finnish melodic metal band that has been kicking butt since the late ’90s. They’ve put out a ton of awesome music, including ten studio albums and two acoustic albums. Plus, they’ve played a bunch of shows all over the world and have a huge fanbase. They’re basically legends in the power metal genre!

Anyway, they just finished up their 25th anniversary tour in Latin America (which was totally sold out, by the way), and now they’re heading back to Europe with fellow Finnish power metal band STRATOVARIUS. They’re calling the tour “Nordic Power Metal Titans,” and it’s going to be epic!

Oh, and there’s also going to be a support act called INDUCTION, who are promoting their new album “Born From Fire.” They’re going to be warming up the crowd before the main acts hit the stage.

According to the SONATA ARCTICA keyboardist Henrik “Henkka” Klingenberg, they’re super stoked to be touring with STRATOVARIUS again after all these years. They did a tour together back in 2000, and it’s going to be awesome to do it again.

And STRATOVARIUS is just as excited! They’re saying that this tour is going to be a great opportunity to show how strong power metal still is, and how it’s evolved over the years.

INDUCTION guitarist Tim Kanoa Hansen is also pumped for the tour, and says that they can’t wait to play their new album for all the power metal fans out there.
