Foo Fighters North American 25th Anniversary Tour will arrive to 10 cities traveling in a van

Foo Fighters are celebrating their 25th anniversary and the wan to commemorate it in a special way. The band will run a special 10-city tour where they’ll revisit the very first cities where they played on their inaugural tour 25 years ago. They also will be traveling in a van such and how they did it at that time.

“I’ve interviewed everybody — The Beatles toured in a van, Guns N’ Roses, Metallica, U2, everybody has had a van. There’s something about that time, you wear it like a badge.”

Grohl

The leader of FOO FIGHTERS, Dave Grohl, also talked about the next album of the hard band for “The Bill Simmons Podcast.” He said: “We just finished recording. Some of those songs are born and are completed in 45 minutes. Then there are other songs that are all the opposite. There is a riff on the new album that I have been working on for 25 years. The first time I did a demo was in my basement in Seattle”.

GRohl also confirmed that he is working on a new documentary focused on tours made in vans. “I’ve interviewed everyone,” he said. «THE BEATLES turned in a van, GUNS N‘ ROSES, METALLICA, U2, everyone has had a van. There is something at that time, you use it as a badge. »

“The film is not so much about really impressive anecdotes of the van tour, but rather about the urge to do so,” he explained. “Why would anyone give up everything, leave their job, leave everything behind, just to pursue this dream without any guarantee that you would ever achieve it? And you’re starving, you bleed, you’re sick, you’re angry, they take you to jail and in fights, but you always get to the next concert. Everyone has the same story, and it is absolutely the key to success. “
